Nancy Nicol

I am a Wellfleet resident, artist and designer and have been painting and making things all my life. After closing Gallery 5 and downsizing five years ago, I conceptualized a webstore that would combine my years of entrepreneurial experience with creativity.

nancynicolart.com reaches new customers as well as collectors familiar with my work, attracting appreciative people who enjoy the ease of an online purchase.

I am a 2018 exhibitor at Burdick Art Gallery, 25 Bank Street, Wellfleet  and Viridian Contemporary Art Gallery, Chelsea, NYC. I also feature small nautical paintings and hand-painted jelly/linen cabinets at The Whydah Museum Store, MacMillan Wharf, Provincetown.

There are five collections in the webstore as well as custom work information.
Gallery - most recent paintings, assemblage and collage:

Just Oysters - oyster shell paintings in various sizes and by special order, many hand-framed with weathered wood strips; paintings of historic oyster shacks. Oyster-themed gear, canvas bags and mugs:

Decor –  hand painted Amish-style jelly and linen cabinets:

One Lucky Cat – cat sculptures and maneki-nekos (lucky cat)  paintings and gear including canvas totes, mouse pads and mugs:

Wall Art –  sea life, small buildings, seascapes and landscapes, lithography, art from the archives. Paintings in a current gallery show will not be available online.

Custom Work  - cabinets, signage, house and cat portraits.

My studio/showroom SOLARIUM is open year round and you are welcome to visit by appointment. Here you can purchase many items seen in these collections and place special orders.
