Sea Life - Adult Bottom Feeder

Adult Bottom Feeder known as a sole or flounder, is an oil painting on panel 14.5 x 14.5 framed by the artist with weathered wood strips. Very interesting flat fish to paint. When they change habit they can camouflage themselves  and blend in avoid predators. They  are born with an eye on each side of their head but as they grow, one eye migrates to the other side. Flounder, seen on sea food menus as filet of sole, is considered delicacy partly because the are becoming rare, having been overfished.
