Paintings - Clams

Clams is an 11 x 14 oil on canvas of Captain Higgins oyster shack in his Wellfleet boat year C. 1930. Framed with weathered wood  strips. Not only did he continue to sell local oysters, he carried little necks, cherry stones and quahogs,  mussels and scallops. He had become a bait shop and convenience store for fishermen as well. Historic scene, collectible.
