New Work

New Work
Gray September days are perfect for painting historic weathered oyster shacks. Oysters and other bivalves also seem to respond artistically in less natural light and indirect slant of the sun. I have several canvasses primed and ready to go, keeping up with my commitment to paint every day. From the 7th to the 14th, I'm managing The Works Gallery, Briar Lane while Anne and Paul are away. Several paintings from my store are there for purchase.

September work: on oyster shack painting series and vintage Wellfleet doorways

Great response and "likes" to recent post on Instagram, Facebook and at nancynicolart.com - Capt' Higgins "Spit and Chatter Club", a  highly textured 10 x 10 oil on canvas painting, based on vintage postcards. This shack was moved to the other side of the road where it became Captain Higgins Restaurant, now revitalized as The Pearl.

I am looking for an active physical venue to display and sell my work. Would consider a co-op. venture. Ideas? RSVP me, 508-776-1149.
