New Work after the Heat Wave

Finally back in the studio on cool mornings. Inspired by the exotic shapes and subtle colors of wild Wellfleet Oyster Shells. This one is 18 x 18 oil on canvas. I have been experimenting with darker backgrounds, this is blue-gray French ochre.
