Final one for 2018: Higgins Oyster Shack and Boatyard
This 18.5 x 24.5 oil on panel is the final painting in the 2018 series featuring Captain Higgins oyster shack and boatyard Circa 1920, known locally as the "Spit and Chatter Club." Soft color theme - gray sky with fog lifting to expose a strip of blue, weathered shingles, and a vintage off-white dragger in the boat yard. Eventually the shack was moved to the other side of Commercial Street and opened as Captain Higgins Seafood Restaurant, now The Pearl.
