C. Cod Map with Monsters is 12 x 16 oil painting on panel framed by the artist with weathered wood. A  cartographer's impression of Old Cape Cod in antiquity,  exotic and imaginary "Monsters" were added to their navigational maps as a warning to sailors to keep away the edge of the world.
