'Persephone, Goddess Between Two Worlds" is an allegorical oil on panel 24 x 24, painted during social isolation in a time of  COVID-19 epidemic. It represents what we all must go through - seasons of darkness and the eventual return to the light. Dragged away from her mother (Ceres) into the dark underworld (winter) by Pluto (Hades),  she eventually returns to spend a half year in the light, manifesting Spring.
