Historic Wellfleet -Curlew and Company

Curlew and Company is an oil on canvas 12 x 16 framed by the artist with weathered wood. Three working boats now retired are beached in Captain Higgins boat yard. One vessel, Curlew, is named for a shore bird with a specialized down-curved bill to scoop its food in marshy and muddy areas.
