Twelve Wellfleet Oysters for New Jersey Home

This oil painting on a panel 36 x 48 was commissioned by a family that visits Wellfleet for a week every summer after they found me on the web. First we talked and emailed. They knew what they wanted - Wellfleet oyster shells - and could visualize the spot where the painting would hang in their home, size requirements and background color. Production was up to me and they were included in the process as I emailed progress updates. Finally, just before they left,  they came to my studio on Cahoon Hollow Road to pick up the completed painting.
